Rules

  • Dress Code
    • Cowboys Club is an exclusive, private social club with the aim of a relaxed, but conservative, dress code. Fitness & Pool Bathing attire are not permitted in any area of the club. Cutoffs, athletic attire, flip flops, baseball caps & team jerseys/t-shirts are not permitted. Shorts are only permitted during the months of May - September, until 6:00 PM. During the Spring, Fall & Winter months, shorts are not permitted.

  • Mobile Phones
    • To protect our members & guests, phone calls are only allowed in certain areas of the club. Photos are not permitted from the moment you step off the elevator! Please note that texting, emailing & social media is allowed throughout the entirety of our space.

  • Guests
    • Members may be accompanied by up to five guests at anytime, unannounced. A member’s guests may not enter the club without that member present. Should your guest arrive prior to you, they will be asked to remain at reception until you have checked in. Members may not be separated from their guests within the club or allow their guests to remain in the club when they leave. Members are responsible for ensuring their guests follow all club rules and policies & can face suspension or termination of membership if their guests violate those rules.

  • Children
    • The club is designed for adults, but we are child-friendly. Please be considerate of other members when bringing children and ensure your children remain in your presence at all times. Children 12 years & younger are not permitted in the club after 8:00 p.m. Children 18 years of age or younger are only permitted in the club if they are accompanied by their parent or guardian. Anyone over the age of 18 will be considered a guest of the club member.

  • Referring New Members
    • Members are welcome to propose new applicants to join the club. Prospective members can apply by submitting an application here.

  • Membership Renewal
    • Membership renewals are not automatic & are reviewed on an annual basis. Membership requires adherence to accepted standards of conduct & the rules of the club. The decision of the renewal is final & cannot be appealed.

  • Privacy for Members/Guests
    • Members & their guests must not photograph, approach, disturb or solicit others with whom they are not personally acquainted. Doing so may lead to suspension or termination of membership.

  • Cameras/Recording Devices
    • No cameras, video, or recording devices may be used while in the club. Members are responsible for ensuring their guests also abide by this rule. The club reserves the right to ask you to delete any content &/or take possession of/confiscate any camera, video or recording device and any photos, videos or other recorded images used or taken while on club premises.

  • Audio/Video Sound
    • Movies, videos, songs, internet calls & presentations must only be played through headphones & should not be audible to any other member or guest.

  • Illegal Substances
    • No member or guest of a member shall use, ingest, possess or distribute illegal drugs while on club premises. Violation of this rule by a member or their guest will result in termination of their membership.

  • Bills
    • Monthly statements & dues may be settled online & automatically withdrawn from your credit card/debit card/bank accounts by the club. Members are responsible for all unpaid bills, whether personal or from your guest(s).

  • Membership Payment
    • Upon approval or renewal of your membership, your membership fees become chargeable immediately. By providing the club with your payment details, you accept & consent to being charged such membership fees by the club. It is within the club’s discretion to amend the membership fees. The club will provide advanced written notice of any changes to the amount, date, or frequency of the payment of your membership fees & dues. Membership is for a minimum of one year & renewable thereafter on an annual basis.

  • Private Events
    • We may at times close the club to members &/or guests for private events. If you are interested in hosting an event with us, please submit a request form here. Please note that you must be a member or have a member sponsor you, in order to host an event at the club. 

  • Animals
    • With the exception of certified service animals, no animals will be permitted inside the club.

  • Disciplinary Procedure
    • Conduct that is prejudicial to the reputation & character of the club may result in suspension or expulsion. Such conduct may include violent or abusive behavior, the communication of information concerning the club affairs or members or their guests in the club to the media, etc. An expelled member may not return to the club as a guest. A refund of the expelled member’s induction fee, will be at the discretion of club management. Any member or members who willfully remove, damage or destroy any property belonging to the club or to members/guests on the premises, will be liable for expulsion. Every member binds him/herself to abide by the rules, bylaws & regulations of the club upon acceptance as a member. If the club considers any member’s (or his or her guests’) conduct either inside or outside of the club premises is, at its absolute discretion, contrary to the interests of the club, the club may expel the member from the club premises &/or suspend or terminate that member’s membership.

  • Constitution
    • The club is constituted to encourage non-political, social & recreational activities.

  • The Club
    • The club is a proprietary private membership restaurant & club. The club reserves the right to charge members a joining fee, monthly dues, an annual subscription fee & for admission to the club premises from time to time. The right to amend or waive any such fees or subscriptions shall be in the club’s sole discretion. No reason will be given for refusal of an application at any stage.

  • Resignation
    • Any member wishing to resign his/her membership may do so. In order to not be charged dues for the following month, the club requires a minimum of 30 days written notice. If your cancellation is not received within this time period, the club may automatically withdraw monthly dues. Induction/initiation fees are non-refundable & memberships are not transferable.

  • Rights and Privileges of Membership
    • Members shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of the club & shall be bound by these rules but shall have no proprietary rights in any of the premises or in respect of property of the club.

  • Smoking Policy
    • All members and their guests are obligated to abide by the club’s smoking policy then in effect & to all applicable no-smoking governmental laws, rules & regulations. No smoking is allowed inside the club at any time or on the club's terrace. The club reserves the right to designate certain outside areas of the club premises as smoking areas & to change the location of such designated areas at any time. All members & their guests are requested to respect the wishes of other members/guests, in regards to smoking & must refrain from smoking when requested to do so.

  • Cowboys Club Trademark Rights
    • All members & their guests shall refrain from using the names, logos, colors, trademarks, service marks, photographs, trade dress, or other identifying features of Cowboys Club (the “Cowboys Club Marks”) without obtaining the specific prior written approval of the club as to the specific use. You & your guests must hereby expressly recognize that the Cowboys Club Marks are the valid, unique & exclusive property of the club, its parent, affiliates &/or subsidiaries. Members & their guests may not produce or create, or authorize others to produce or create, the Cowboys Club Marks for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to, in any communications, marketing, advertising or other promotional materials (including, but not limited to, brochures, flyers, invitations, e-mail messages, etc.) that utilize the Cowboys Club Marks without the club’s prior written consent.

  • Liability of the Proprietor
    • The club, its servants, &/or agents shall not be liable to any member or guest of a member for any loss damage or injury suffered by them or their property how so ever caused. This is not intended to affect any mandatory rights provided under local law that cannot be legally restricted or excluded.

  • Interpretation of the Rules
    • In the event of any dispute arising as to the meaning or interpretation of these rules, the matter shall be referred to club management, whose decision shall be final.

  • Amendments to the Rules of the Club
    • The club may change its rules at any time. A copy of these updated rules will be made available to all members upon reasonable notice.
